Alpha Process Controls to showcase LNG coupling portfolio at major London conference
Alpha Process Controls (APC) is exhibiting at the LNG World Shipping Ship/Shore Interface conference in London where it will showcase its innovative family of marine breakaway coupling technology.
The event, which takes place on 11 and 12 May at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Conference Centre, will focus on the key technology issues in the LNG transportation sector and, in particular, the ship/shore interface, including the growing offshore LNG sector and offshore transfers.
Located on Stand 2 within the event’s exhibition area, APC will demonstrate its position as one of the pioneers of the development of breakaway Emergency Release Couplings (ERC).
Its marine ERC systems are part of a suite of bespoke engineering systems for the transfer of hazardous liquids. The company designs, manufactures and installs the systems, which also include, drybreak couplings and emergency release collar breakaway couplings, in addition to loading arms and loading skids, supplied to its international client base that includes Shell, BP, Exxon and Saudi Aramco.
John Lamb, Managing Director of Alpha Process Controls, which is part of the GT Group, said: “The challenges of safe and efficient transfer of LNG will be one of the key topics at this conference and we are looking forward to discussing our innovative developments with delegates.”
