A respected manufacturing industry professional has been appointed a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
John Lamb, Managing Director of Alpha Process Controls (APC) and GT Group Sales Director, which is part of Knorr-Bremse, has attained the highest rank of membership in the internationally respected business leaders’ organisation.
IoD Members are invited to become Fellows based on their career experience and contribution to business. Fellows are required to have been a company director for at least five years and must have had an annual turnover or budget that exceeds £10m.
With 28 years’ experience with APC, John Lamb is a highly-regarded specialist in the transfer of hazardous liquids, chemicals and gases, including Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). John has also led numerous training courses in Europe and Middle East for the safe transfer of fuels incorporating loading arms, breakaway and drybreak couplings for companies including Shell, Exxon Mobil, Aramco and GASCO in Saudi Arabia.
He is the author of a number of technical papers relating to the safe transfer of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), including presentation to the Institution of Gas Engineers International conference in London and Oil Industry Safety Directive (India)
